How safe is the place you live ?

Unfortunately i agree with you on this. Guess there are many among us suffering from Stockholm Syndrome.

Its 2 different things accidents and crimes ,even the supreme court passed circular its illegal for a doctor to refuse first aid for a Road traffic accident but the system which is now (police and court ) makes the one who helps go through extreme pressure by calling them for court and police multiple times which in turn creates negative image on them society for those who visit court and police station,and if a person was under influence of alcohol and commits accident its not a crime ,unless until they frame it as crime and make the ones who get arrested to do public service like in west take tuition for rural area kids ,clean particular place for some days rather keeping them inside or fining them is useless they will repeat

Every country has good and bad people.

I traveled around many places.
Tier 2 countries especially Asians are more friendly and helpful than tier-1 countries.
Accidents don't happen a lot in tier-1 countries because of low population.

In India, one accident took place before my eyes when I was on a trip. The car's front wheel exploded and hit the tree We stopped our bikes and it happens in a state highway. So all people around there came to help. there were 2 guys in that car. One is dead and other is critically injured. We get them out of the car and lay them on the road and called the ambulance because if we try to get them to the hospital it will injure them more (ex: spinal break, inner bleeding, Dislocation, Skull shatter etc). This is a basic procedure to handle the injured people. After that, the crowd formed around the injured to see what's happening.

When people who came there after all this think that no one is helping the injured one laid on the floor.

Plus people love to share incidents in social media.
even you shared your best friends death in a forum where thousands of people see.

Glad that you helped someone who was injured,Again there is huge difference sharing an information then sharing a image /video in social media ,instead helping the injured ones taking videos and pictures is a barbaric act IMO

Yep I most certainly agree that these court procedures and calling the witnesses to police stations scare people away and that is why most people donot come forward.
Accidents and crime are 2 different things but I just wanted to tell how public doesn't come forward to help.
 
I live in the middle of nowhere near forest's and in the back on the side got a terasse as well which ain't bad afterall
 
I live in Los Angeles. Here, security is especially for girls on a not very good level.

Unfortunately not only in 3d world countries. I live in the Netherlands and few months ago a boy commited suicide by jumping off a building. He broke everything and there was a huge pool of blood coming around him but he was still alive. While I was calling for an ambulance some youngsters were gathering around him making videos on their phones. Disgusting pieces of sh#t. I told them to quit it, and i got a big mouth and threats. They were of "north african" origin but their dutch was fluent.

Slightly off topic, but how safe is russia for brown people? I'd love to visit it and see the sites but I am a bit worried about the racism. But not sure if its bad as the media says it is though.

I have seen this kind of behaviour in several european countries which are considered first world. I don't think that this depends on how well a country is developed

Again its relative thing i lived there a decade max twice encountered with skin heads or Nazi(Russians who admire Hitler xD) there are crazy people everywhere other then that most Russians want to communicate with foreigners but they dont know english the biggest mistake foreigners do is laughing so they get embarrassed and start beating you ,all they want is to take a picture with you ,talk about the big queue when banana and tea brought first time to Moscow ,how they enjoyed Indian movies in childhood.
In russia you dont smile at some stranger but indians does that and get into trouble
 
Well , its all depends upon people. Its not the country nor the tier.
We all are human beings , some of them are good and some of them are bad and they act accordingly.
Good people are everywhere and bad people are everywhere.
 
Where i was raised anyone would get a blanket or something and put it on the victim, then call the amulance. For taking and sharing photos on social media part, over here it's not so cool to do so, some sort of a cultural thing. It happens though, but people would curse and call you names in comments.
