How rich (approximate net worth based on what you know about them) is the richest person you ever came in contact with, and what is the most important thing you learned from them?

I don't look up/down on people because of their net worth. Rather their drive towards making money, that's the only thing that counts.
But I've met some pretty high net worth people.

My partner is worth around 25 million euros, he has the connections, I do the job

I met the founder and CEO of a well known U.S. company because he was my employer

I met someone with a lot of love, and so love is more wealth than money, and so they were the most wealthy person I met because they had all the love wealth, and really love is the real wealth not money which is just a money wealth for real.

the rich are different. Money is not the objective but the marker of thei success. But they have just as many problems as the rest of us

Couple billions : "never buy when the price is above the average"

Came in contact with? Uh I met DeMar Derozan walking along Rodeo. Also met Will Smith at a Nike outlet in Maryland, lol.

Someone I know personally? Richest guy I know has like a net worth of 100M+, founded a software company in the 1980’s sold it in 2015 for 500M, now has a pretty successful production company in Toronto.

That they are still people like us and they value love and relationship more than money like most of us (sane people) :p .

CEO of my previous workplace.
Nice guy, but arrogant, and a visionary.

The richest person I've personally been on good terms with, made $12m a year. About $6m / year went to taxes, so he made $6m per year. So, after taxes, that's $16,438 per day. Absolutely crazy.

Which sector?

I used to work for this guy back in the mid 80's.

Only met with him in a group setting once a month to go over monthly reports and budgets (his office was in Ft Lauderdale and I ran his West Palm Beach operations) but he was always super generous and his Father was the most likeable man on the planet.

No idea of his worth but up until he died he sent me a Christmas card every year even though I was no longer part of his crew.
