I started reading about domain flipping, and I did some research, I found a domain that I thought was worth some money so I used the site:

https://www.domaining.com/valuate/
https://www.estibot.com/

and they showed the value of $ 690 for my domain, these sites are trustworthy?, the domain do I have worth it? or are these sites are fake?
some status of the domain:

i3m0rcv

please help

sorry my english

Definitely not a reliable source for domain appraisals in my opinion. If you're really wanting to see what your domain is worth, or, what the market is willing to pay for it; I suggest that you list it for sale either on Flippa or here in our marketplace.

Alternatively, hire an expert to assess, evaluate and appraise the value.

One member here that I can recommend for this would be meathead1234.

Best of luck! :)

Not a problem at all.

Also, just my 2 cents... If the domain is receiving traffic or has the good potential to do so; throw up a site and see if you can gather some traffic stats to show your prospects.

You'll reward yourself with a much greater sales price since you'll have data-driven stats to provide rather than just "keyword volume" screenshots.

Let's not crush anyone's dreams here...

At first, I was going to comment something similar to this thread as I've been in the domain buying/selling space in the past and for me, it didn't work. However, it's a business model that if done strategically can be profitable.

What makes-or-breaks this business model is either over-paying for domain names or under-selling them. Similar to that of purchasing real estate, you want to purchase at "under the market value" but the problem for newbies is that there's no stock market to analyze.

Domainers need to have the know-all to assess the value based on their knowledge to know whether the acquisition is one that's sensible (or unprofitable).

So yes, without the experience and in-the-field experience (buying and selling domains); a newbie with no understanding of domain values would fail drastically in this business.

It was too good to be true LOL
