Leaving helpful and real comments can bring good traffic if done the right way it’s about giving value and sharing useful thoughts not promoting yourself i also got nice results from writing meaningful and thoughtful comments on blogs.

The same happened to me. I commented on a medium-traffic site, and my comment was approved. I have seen that my traffic increased, but I couldn't identify the traffic source. I checked with Ahrefs and found that monthly, 100 new visitors land on this site through the comment.
