I’ve been updating some of my older posts, but I’m not sure how often it’s necessary. What’s the optimal frequency for updating old blog content to keep it ranking well?
Depends a lot on your niche tbh. For evergreen stuff, updating every 6–12 months works fine just refresh stats, links, and a few lines. But if it’s a fast changing niche, every 3–4 months helps keep it fresh. Just update when you see traffic or rankings dip instead of doing it on a fixed schedule.I’ve been updating some of my older posts, but I’m not sure how often it’s necessary.
