Just wanted to give you a tip that will make a major difference to your business if you spend a lot of time talking to people; working on a potential sale. I have a couple of gems that have been working great for me recently, allowing me to close $100-$975 sales, which is me doing some social media work for clients. Lots of Facebook and Instagram work. My best sale recently was $975 and I only was first introduced to the client about an hour before (all online) Here’s some keys to approaching a sale.
1) Always provide a bit of free work for your client before hand. This alone creates a level of trust that allows your sale to happen much easier. Even a few minutes of something simple (like description or hashtag recommendations for example) can make all the difference.
2) No emojis, just details. I know for a fact that far too many marketers over email, text or messenger use a bunch of emojis when communicating with a potential client. I found that any at all does not work well. Just provide the facts and you’ll be fine. Bottom line; they care about your service, not you!
3) Now, this one is funny to me. Through months of practicing my messaging skills, I found that people who always start with “yo” are never going to buy from you. Probably a coincidence yes, but I found that over and over again. I learnt how to identify who is actually interested from the start, and not someone who is just messaging you along with 50 others.
Hope these tips help!
