For outsourcing a standard 6-8 minute video, you are looking at around $100 for Script, VO and Editing. Thumbnails on top probably another $20.

For self-creation, it takes about 6-8 hours for a well produced video. I am well adapted to the whole process - Scriptwriting, Voiceover and Editing. I use Adobe Rush for simple projects and Premier pro for larger ones.

I recommend Premier rush if you are on a budget - you can do a lot within this simple software. Enough to make a video look good.

It completely varies on your niche and goal. You can output 10's of videos per day if they are really simple. Say you start a 'how to' channel with 2-3 minute videos showing how to do a simple task - you could realistically do 5 per day. But if you are doing extensive, highly polished content, then you could invest days or weeks producing one video.

I hope this helps. Good luck on your journey, it is a really great platform to invest in. Just the experience of editing, scriptwriting, voiceover, marketing and everything else will put you above a lot of people. Video is the future!

This amount is different now at about $60-65 per video depending on video length it can be much higher and the only service I get on fiverr is video editing

I used to make my lecture about physics. Which were approx 25 to 30 minutes long.
I used to edit it with wondershare Filmora.
It took me about 2 to 3 hours with complete video and voice editing as well.
 
I create slideshow videos in a format that is popular nowadays and it cost me nothing, as I built my own system using templates. Even data collecting takes 1-2 min depending on the topic.

For other formats (top 10s, finance, cash cow type in general) i paid $40-80/ video.
 
1 video I do in 2-3 hours but if you are new you can take even one day for complete video.

Where are you sourcing for such service?
Is it a video with an actual face of someone in it or just a faceless type?
 
3 to 4 hours for me but if it's something simple it doesn't take that long

I used to work for a company as a marketer. She develops videos and their publications. Although located in Russia (now in the USA), almost all performers have a salary equal to the USA. The cost depends on the subject. For example, creating a video on the topic "cooking" is between $500 and $1,500 on average. This includes paying a specialist + video editing. Translation into several languages (comments). Given as an example. Game videos will be cheaper (if just walkthroughs - from $ 300). We do not include advertising here. Advertising + 400-1000% to the budget.
