If a blog makes money off Adsense month after month, how much would it sell for if it consistently makes $100 a month?

10 times earnings? 12 times earnings?

Anyone have experience with this? I've only been making money through the income of my sites and freelance work.

Thanks in advance

If you have a history of consistent revenue and stable rankings; and there is room for expansion, you can get upto 20X of monthly revenue.

Normally, but not limited at least nothing below 8X the monthly rate.

If you get anything below that, I would avoid, as it could be fake.

Would the price/multiple be higher if my site is in the FINANCE niche?

Probably depends on where you are selling it too. Different places would give you more than others depending on the site.

It depends on various factors . If it is a continuous earning without any effort, you may ask more than 15x per month . It is my personal suggestion. And it depends on you as you know your website better.

You can never consistently guarantee that return rate.. two many factors.. some people are saying 10-15 times? So basically it would take me over a year just to recoup the money.. minus hosting fees and what not.. yeah I'll pass.. you can't tell me a year and half down the line that it will make that.... why is it stuck on 100$ a month? shouldnt you try to build it up? Id say id pay maybe 4-5 times.. if it makes this on autopilot like you say.. why sell it? to get capital for something else?

$100 per month is very very low in my opinion so what we talking basically $25 per week? It's not that great unless it's on the rise!

It will depend on a lot of factors. If you get more than 8x earnings then your doing well. Look at Flippa. Here are some examples:

Business blog 1 revenue $311 Buy it now price $475
Business blog 2 revenue $12 Price $25
Business blog 3 revenue $77 Buy it now price $1600
Business blog 4 revenue $844 Buy it now price $15000
Business blog 5 revenue $200 Price $18000
Business blog 6 revenue $200 Price $1000

You can see its a very wide range. Revenue is not the only deciding factor.

I usually follow the 10 times rule, although there is many other factors to take into consideration such as keyword rankings among many other things.

I would say 10 times monthly earnings
As others said already, it depends on a lot of different factors. With a low income like yours, the question is how much work did you put in the last say 6 months to keep the revenue at this level. If it's more than 5 hours per month it's already not worth it for a lot of people because they will be better off investing that time in their own projects for a higher return. If it's generated on autopilot (no updates needed, just buy and forget) and it's stable for at least 8-12 months, I would charge up to 2 years of profit.

Based on revenue only, 10x of monthly. If you have a solid domain name and some authority to go with it, it could be 20x. At the end of the day, it's worth what someone will pay for it.

Another idea that you may consider is this... If you have decent niche traffic, you may find a party who'd be happy to pay you a monthly fee to have their own CTA on the page to get leads for their business. This could quickly double (or triple - or more) your monthly revenue and you get to keep the asset. In other words, if you could add another $200 per month, you will make that amount you were gonna sell it for in about 5 months and you get to keep it rolling in perpetuity. Then, you can still sell it, but for more. Just a thought.

flippa is the biggest ..... guess you get a good price there.
