How much traffic needed to make 100$ per month?

Hi guys,

i've got a short question to you.

To my actual situation: I've got different social media channels and a website.
Via the social media channels (especially Instagram) i get between 200 and 300 visitors on my website per day. (on my social media channels are no advertisements, just nice content)

How much traffic is good enough to monetize the content on my website via affiliate links?

You can earn $5,000/month with 10K visits, or you can earn $50 with 10K visits. It depends what you are promoting.

If these 200-300 are random clickbait strangers so you wont earn anything - and if your page is very specific and you are selling very specific products and they found you somehow without any advertising its big chance that you will get many sales. Its all about what you sell, what you offer, wahts your content and whats your audiance

Okay.
It's not a specific product that is searched by everyone.
It's more like something that very very very much young girls dreaming about.
 
Also why 100$ - try with 5$ then with 10$ then with 50$ and scale :)
Change your point of thinking like - how much traffic I need to get 100. Nobody knows how much traffic you need.
Find it by yourself testing and monetizing it

The reason i ask this is, that my first aim is not to make much money.
Of course this would be a nice plus, but i think the real money makers earn money, because they have the passion to do what they to.

I'm trying to not fuck up my visitors with nonsense advertisments. The added value is my focus.

Agreed, find what works and scale up. It all depends in the quality of the traffic and your conversion rate AND your commission rate. That are too many variables. Try it and see what works with what you're getting now.
 
It totally depends on how attractive your ad looks. Use clickbait topics. you'll get maximum clicks and you can make your earning almost by 125%. It's a data from experts, not me :P Anyways, I've tried and got good results; might not be 125% more, but yea great improvement.

With 100 (targetted) unique visitors /day you'll probably make more than $100 a month. Just a seat of the pants guess.

Young girls - or boys - don't have any money, so you're not going to earn anything from them buying something no matter what your offer is.

In my opinion you need to either use something like Adsense where you earn if they click something (no purchase necessary), or find a way to let them share your pages with their parents, so their parents can buy it for them.

People with no money = no sales.
 
What Skyrocket said, depends on targeted audience, visiting person, your content, your niche and few other facts.

I think my post was missunderstood by you. At the end of the day the content on my website could be interesting for all people who are into fashion and clothing with and age between 15 to 35.

For the beginng i don't want to sell my own products.
My strategy for the beginng are affiliate links from clothing and fashion websites but also amazon.

After that i want to reinvest the money i made with affiliate programms into my own clothes.
tshirts, caps, watches...you name it

;)

You need best niche and relevant traffic to earn 100$ or more. It really depend upon the targeted users you got. Some people tagged or got irrelevant traffic that does't convert into sale. thx
