Hey,

I am trying to rank for a keyword for my Amazon review website stats shown below.

https://prnt.sc/r6iwoo

The website that's coming on 1st has a link profile strength of 12

Till now I have created a website and added like 2000 words and I am planning to add more supporting articles and driving some traffic before doing the money articles with aff links.

What type of link building strategies should I use for this?
This is my first time ranking something because previously I have done only paid traffic but this time I want to try this shit.

Thanks.

hey mod, remove this post got really helpful replies, very responsive forum.
Thanks, guys

Hey Dude,

A common strategy of link building to new sites should start from guest posting. Instead of getting few 1000 spammy links always better to go a few quality backlinks. But it will take and effort.
Link strength values calculated based on a few factors like TF, CF, Alexa Rank, FB shares, External links...etc. So by increasing trustworthy signals from niche related guest posts, you will go to the top ranking.

You should dig into your competitor's backlink strategies. Just the link strength number is not enough to make a plan to beat them. You have to check from where they are getting the links.

First, don't trust KD scores or website ratings.
16,000 page views a month for the keyword tells me that if the keyword has a money intent behind it, it's going to be tough to rank for.

Without knowing more about your website, any recommendations are just guesswork.

Is your website new?
Is it a repurposed domain with existing links?
Is it ranking for keywords without any link building?
What kind of links do you already have?
Have you checked to see what websites are ranking for the keyword on pages, 2, 3 and 4? If there are plenty of exact match articles in the top 40 positions, you're going to have a tough time ranking with a new website unless you know exactly what you're doing, which it sounds like you don't.

First job is to ignore third party stats to tell you how hard something is going to be. You can quickly see exactly what sort of competition you're playing with by looking at the serps themselves.

Having said that, it looks like a moderately difficult keyword - you will struggle if your website is brand new and/or not well linked yet.
