How much time do you spend?

I sit at the computer both at my day job and afterwards, but since I take frequent breaks the average is about 7-10 hours a day at most. The rest of the usable time I exercise, visit prospects, tend to clients, etc. I try to balance things out if possible, so I reserve at least two weekends a month for family/friends/leisure activities.

BTW, they just installed a gym at work, free to use for employees. There's also a new sound-proof punching bag room to relieve stress. The perks of working in a creativity-encouraging workplace.

It really depends on the agenda for the day. Sometimes I work for a few hours, other days I'm on for nearly the whole day. It's usually a daily process that jumps around in hours every day.

How much time do I spend really working on IM? Like 2-3 hours. The rest I slack off, but at least I'm admitting it. I'm working on it though, and I've certainly improved recently.

I don't see how people can work for 14+ hours a day. Motivating for me!

I'd say about 12 hours a day, 4 days a week and 6 hours on Friday. Extremely motivated and anti-social during the week but during weekends I don't work at all and instead probably drink from Friday all the way to Sunday without stopping with all my College and Uni buddies. (Of course keeping my phone on me getting email updates just in case something really important)

My life is pretty much extreme working and extreme socializing. No matter which I'm doing I like to stay focused on one or the other. And that's how it's going to stay at least for a while. Great thing about IM is your work all builds up.

Well said man! Also, couldn't help but laugh your avatar :D

3-4 hours of pure IM a day, 7 days a week. I also have my studies to focus on, so I can't spend too much time on IM.

3-6 hours a day. More than 8 hours will deteriorate health and eyesight quick.

If you're wasting countless hours online, I would recommend keeping a notepad or notebook next to you to write down your daily tasks. Stay on track and stay motivated.

I'm spending less than 8-hours a day, sometimes I can go as 10-hours. But, I'm off on Sunday, sometimes off both Saturday and Sunday... I spend those times with my wife and daughter.

szhang is right, write down all your "to do" for the day and you'll be able to do more. In short, you'll be productive.

I have a horrible schedule. I usually do IM for 24-30 hours (breaks of course... eating and stuff). Then I literally pass out and sleep for 12-14h straight. Mentally is getting to a breaking point. And on top of that I have something called ulcerous colitis which means I have been shi**ing blood since april of 2011... Think i need to slow down for a couple of days and call my doctor(s).

But hey, atleast I am making money!

lol why would I not be serious? I just expressed that I am in a horrible situation and shape. Right now I would rather have a decent 9 to 5 and a normal sleep schedule.

But on a serious note, Asacol 400MG , 4x a day. ;) If you aren't on it, get on it!

haha! yeah sorry bout that, but its the truth! I def need some meds. Under the last couple of months there is this big black thing that has started to grow on the top of my head too! It kinda looks like a little black hat that grows bigger and bigger for each day...

Just the part where you said: "But hey! At least I'm making money!" I lol'ed so hard I almost pissed myself. I know how it feels. I've lost 50+ lbs. in the last 5-6 months from stress. +rep for making me laugh, even though it's a "shitty" situation.

Yes... I have noticed that the resolution of the real world has significantly decreased for me. It used to be 1024x768, now it's 800x600. With significantly more pop-up.

Well I guess it's a good thing if my pain makes you laugh! All joking aside stress and lack of sleep really is bad. No matter how much $ you make. And on that note I am going to sleep.

Have been working as a freelancer for 2-3 hours daily in my spare time after completing college.

Joined this forum recently and little excited and dedicated to work more. :)
