How many hours on average do you spend in front of your computer on IM:
1. a day?
2. a week?

Probably about 12-14 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Sometimes 90% IM, somes 50% though. Lately more around 60-70%, as I'm waiting for a couple things to fall in place, so I let myself get lazy, even though I have 100 other things I should be doing.

At the moment I am spending like 3-4 hours per day. Just starting out, will probably need more time soon.

7-8 hrs a day, but never in a row though, frequent breaks so i don't lose focus

Exactly the same hours and story here:cool:

Right now I average 18-20+ hours a day in front of my computer, 7 days a week. I work everyday, even holidays. Getting set up for residual income is more important than gallivanting on the town.

I can vouch for this. She takes one 15 minute break at most to get dinner, some days she is too busy for that and works without any breaks. She seriously does average 18-20+ hours a day working.

12 hrs a day for 7 days a week. I am a full time IM'er i equally spend time for my family, friends and other social things.
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy & jill a wealthy widow!

12 hours a day for IM.
12 hours a day for Family and Friends.

I'm no mathematician here but things aren't adding up.

When my friends aren't in town from college, I'm on my computer unless I'm eating, sleeping, working out or showering.

But when my friends are in town from college, it's a whole different story.

While I am still not at an income that I desire, I work much more throughout my day and week. Some days I will probably work 8-12 hours on IM stuff. I usually work on it throughout the entire day with small smoke/eat breaks.

1-2 hours a day right now in the evenings before bed trying to get up to speed on everything (lol noob) and get my first site ranking decently enough to bankroll some other projects.

Thankfully I have time to take it slow as I have a good day job. I would still love to really ramp this up and make something of it though. The job isn't THAT good ;)

8-10 hours daily for work. 1-2 for leisure time gaming.

I try to spend a good amount of time out in the sun though, since I sleep little and a lot of my time is spent online late.

Mostly about 10 hours a day. 6 days a week, I'm working every day except sundays. Sunday is my free day where I relax and spend time with my family and friends etc.

Don't forget to take breaks guys, and don't overwork yourself. It's really not healthy, believe me I know what I'm talking about. I already had a burnout and I tell you it's no fun. Remember: Money can't buy you health.

I spend as much time as it takes to get the job done. Can't count how many times I've fallen asleep in my chair at the desk. I tell myself I'll just rest my eyes for a few minutes then BAM.
