Hey guys,

Let's just assume that I've a website in "make money online" niche and I need a link on the page which is already ranking #1 for this keyword. In this case it's https://www.savethestudent.org/make-money/10-quick-cash-injections.html (I'm not affiliated with this website in any way). Now I want my website's link to be added on this page, how much should I offer the website owner to place my website's link?

How much? That depends.

You'll need to:
  • Determine the amount of traffic you can expect to receive
  • Find out how long the placement will stay
  • Assess site stats (DA/PA and so on)

From the stats itself from Ahrefs, i won't bother ask for the price they will charge for a link lol.

- Well, kwfinder shows the monthly USA search volume of 60K for this keyword and this website is ranked #1 so I assume it's that getting at least 20K visits a month.
- Permanent placement
- Doesn't really matter (because the aim is to get referral traffic instead of gaining seo benefits) but let's just assume that both these metrics are below 30

Yeah it has way too many OBL but assuming that the goal is just to get traffic instead of link juice, what should be the reasonable amount to offer, $20, $50, $100 or more?

even a nofollow link i can tell it is more than $100.

Why would anyone who ranks #1 for "make money online" accept an outbound link for under $100? Probably need to add 2 digits to the end of that number lol, but I might be wrong.

That's not gonna be cheap, for sure.
