I love Upwork. It helped me get out of scarcity and being broke in a matter of a few months. I have no idea what I'd be doing now if I hadn't started working on Upwork.

Upwork is competitive, but if you do a few low-paying jobs to build your portfolio and then start to apply, you should get clients.
Currently I'm in the former phase, but it's been like 40 days since I started. Making about $700-800 a month.
