How much money are we making from SEO?

I assume many of us are making a living purely from seo.

If so, let us know what and how?
Client SEO?
Affiliate seo?
Rank and rent?
Local seo?

What do you charge per client?
Per affiliate commission?
How much make monthly?
Amount of traffic your site gets?

I've been learning seo for around a year now and my sites are slowly starting to pick up traffic, I've been doing a bit of client seo and I've got a few rank and rents on the go.
Just trying to learn a bit more how to make a living from this and who is currently killing it!

SEO is hard work but rewarding when you start making money.

Currently I have 3 affiliate websites making around 2k per month in various niches. Mainly amazon affiliate but have worked with clickbank, adsence and the likes of many others. From there I also work as a digital director, working my way up from an SEO specialist. This brings in another 5k/month after taxes.

SEO is a good career path where spending thousands on schooling is not neccessary.

I prefer work where I dont have to talk to clients and deal with their issues, so affiliate is a good model for me.

Client work falls at around $125/hour

SEO is hard work but rewarding when you start making money.

Rank and bank with affiliate offers = No headache.

Gotta love people dropping these comments when they're members since 2014.

But of topic but I'm trying to rank a site for 'veneers turkey' on ahrefs ive looked at the backlink profile of the sites that are ranking. And they seem to be getting what looks like spammy links on old shit sites with no traffic.

Why does Google not penalise these sites? I am also doing to same thing but I find it strange that Google doesn't penalise. Does this happen often?
