how much link juice do I get from a sidebar link compared to a contextual link?

Note: I know that usually contextual links are king and sidebar is not so good. But I want to discuss a certain case:

Lets say I have a very long article (3000 words). Lets say there are 6 links in this article. And then there is a sidebar with a banner which also has a link. The sidebar is big and fixed widget (scrolls down when you scroll down --> always visible and therefore quite prominent).

What is better in terms of link juice: Having one of those contextual links or the link in the prominent banner / sidebar?

Contextual link in the body of an article will always be better no matter how you cut the cake :)

Actually, home page (sidebar) links have more juice. Because these are on...well, home page

P.S. I am talking about sidebar links on real sites, not some junk

Ok, the contextual links are on the homepage as well. So homepage contextual link compared to homepage sidebar link.

    Sidebar still more powerful?

You're question is silly, because they aren't mutually exclusive. Example - you can have a contextual homepage link.

Here's an SEO secret. The best links are links you can't easily obtain. Hur der!

Sidebar link is better if the domain is really good. In another side if you abuse it you will have some troubles after
