Note: I know that usually contextual links are king and sidebar is not so good. But I want to discuss a certain case:
Lets say I have a very long article (3000 words). Lets say there are 6 links in this article. And then there is a sidebar with a banner which also has a link. The sidebar is big and fixed widget (scrolls down when you scroll down --> always visible and therefore quite prominent).
What is better in terms of link juice: Having one of those contextual links or the link in the prominent banner / sidebar?
