Both matter but backlinks have stronger impact. Internal links mainly help Google crawl and connect your pages

it builds a map, not fuel. it tells g what matters but doesn’t raise authority alone. external backlinks push weight in, internal decides where it flows. perfect combo = clean hierarchy + inbound depth. keep anchors tight, no random loops.
