Adsense hasn't been that great for me so I'm here to ask some statistics:
How much visitors per month?
What kind of content?
How much does Adsense make for you?

For me:
Visitors: 15k visitors / month
Content: Normal blog text not targeting buying keywords
Adsense profit: 40?/month

The reason behind this is that I want to get an idea what kind of sites are great for adsense or is adsense just the last resort if you can't monetize any other way. I am making about 20x the profit from other affiliate programs with the same kind of content + visitors.

If you are making 20X from other programs, then why even bother with adsense?

You have already proved it which one is good for you? Isn't that obvious?

Different sites monetize better in different ways , if your being more successful elsewhere - stick with it . No need to switch to Adsense just to do it

Hey OP, are these affiliate programs strictly related to your website's niche?

You should stick on to what is working for you.If that is affiliates, then push that up.Don't worry bout adsense.

I like Adsense in the sense that I can stick it everywhere without any market research. And it can be used with other affiliate programs like Amazon and Click Bank. And I also have some small web apps in mind that have very little content in it and provide just a simple solution to a simple problem and they are pretty hard to monetize I think. I am just here to figure out if my adsense earnings are standard or too low. And if someone has little tips how they have grown their revenue per visitor.

You can block ads also by General categories and Sensitive categories. Adsense shows you how much % they show up and how much % they earn you. Unfortunately, this is only possible for the whole account and not on a per page level - at least afaik.

Yea. I'm running the adsense experiment feature as we speak on sensitive categories.

The best Adsense website I ever had was earning me about $1800 per month and it was for scrap gold - you remember when gold was super high prices and gold companies were advertising everywhere?

I was only getting 3000ish visitors per month.

The reason I think it worked so well - I gave lots of helpful information on that site about how to work out how much their gold was worth, how to avoid being ripped off by the scam companies, etc.

The people visiting my site were desperate to get money - but having read what I had to say they were now clued up but no nearer selling their gold, so the natural thing for them to do since i'd given them really good advice and they maybe trusted my site, was to click one of the Adsense ads.

People who are reading general stuff on a general website are not motivated to click an ad.

People who are desperate for something are very motivated to click an ad once they have the information they need.

So you need to pick your niche more carefully.

my is not related to investment or money , internet marketing ..( perhaps I should do this as there is a market surely people want to earn more money , who tired or earning more money ? )
but my hobby is fitness so I start it ...yup fitness is a tough niche and after I do just noticed the Adsense PRM , CPC rate for fitness in fact not say very high ...

lowest I get only just like few cents
mid about 1 or 2 dollars
highest only once a while ...like 3 dollars or 4 ....so far Highest record is 8 dollars

but usually just few cents to 1 or 2 dollars.

my page view , impression is about 3000 , 9000...this is what kinda frustrated......

as other niche ...if judging from these figure ..I should be able to get few dollars or even more daily

well for me no choice , I have to keep doing ....since I already put effort building this fitness site...and I add amazon , click bank for additional bonus.

My average CPM is around €5. That's almost 100% search traffic, though. Whenever I use social traffic I get a lot less than that.
