It seems like every website, even big TV companies and stuff want you to "like" their page.
Why?
Is it just a dick measuring contest between big companies to see who can get more likes?
Does a Facebook page with 10,000 likes that links to a website pass more linkjuice than a Facebook page with 0 likes that links to a website?
Does a Twitter account with 10,000 followers pass more linkjuice than a Twitter account with 0 followers?
Aside from bragging rights, what are the benefits of having a lot of followers or likes? I'm not talking about having more followers which means you have more people to sell to, I'm talking about only SEO factors.
