For top tier I engage them for a week or 2, liking posts and a comment or 2 per week. Then I dm them love your page would love to send you out blah blah we pay up to $200. Shoot me a dm if interested, signed by opposite sex name. I reach out to 5 to 10 at a time and make sure your last 1 or 2 posts are not spammy and are actually good. My first time I reached out to mostly models 5, a day later no replies so I did 5 more, then a day later 9 out of 10 replied all the same day.
Then when they write back I let a couple days go by, then I say great so glad your onboard a little about the product of company and then a compliment and then say I'll send you out the product let me know where to send it. Many top influencers have po boxes, you need to use USPS if so.
I send them the product and a page about the company and product etc.
I have a tier system, for payment, they already have in their mind that this is an easy 200 so they will go out of their way usually to see that through.
$50 for a post and @ or #
$75 for a post with professional photo of them using product and a @ and #
$100 for a video of them using the product and # and @
$150 I get more specific. Post or video of you using product on a boat and positive comment and a @ and a #
$175 the last one plus add it into story aswell
$200 my top tier, highest I go. I make those harder to hit but many times they totally come through, like. 1 post of video showing you using product in the water in a bikini and incorporate also showing a back view of you wearing product also. With # and @ and positive shoutout or comment and ofcourse follow our account also. Post must be only post made for a 24 hour period.

Some influencers do this for a living and really need the money so they will go above and beyond to hit my too tiers.

I ALWAYS mention, send me the photo also, if your doing a pro shoot your welcome to take multiple shots with other products too we pay for any good photos. I usually send them out 2 or 3 products and they almost always send back around 5 photos for each product.

They usually schedule a shoot and do multiple product shots. Then you can negotiate on other pics.
I also send them a release to sign before I send payment. This way I can get my money's worth and can use the photo on my account in the future, on my website, in marketing material in the future also. $200 is a lot for a photo with my product and endorsement I want to make the most of each of those bucks.
This is just what I pay, I prob pay on the higher end but this is what it's worth to me, other industries and products will vary ofcourse. Hope this helps a tiny bit.
I've also notices that accounts not in the US are more receptive to the deal. I can get a higher quality influencer in the UK for the same price as half the quality in the US. They just get hit up less is all.
