Thumbnails will be tested, although I would not that much obsess about them. Provided that CTR is gud and reach was still low my guess is that the problem might lie else where in retention or target match.Sometimes a video has a solid CTR but still doesn't get much reach. do you spend more time testing thumbnails or focus mainly on the content itself?
exactly, after CTR becomes healthy, changing thumbnails will give diminishing returns. that’s when i would pay attention to retention, watch time, and drop-offI believe that thumbnails are very important for the first click through but good content is what makes the video work if the CTR is already high, then I would concentrate more on content and viewer retention.
