Hey BHW.

I live in Australia and over here the ISP suck, most of the ISP here only allow us a certain amount of downloads each month. I have 15GB on peak and 20BG off peak.

So before buying Xrumer i need to work some stuff out. Im either going to have to upgrade my ISP package to a business package with like 100GB a month or get a dedicated server. Now to my knowledge dedicated servers start at like $100 a month and so does the ISP business package im looking at.

So before i make a decision i need to work out how much downloads Xrumer uses up in say a 12 hour period? Running non stop. I know it may depend on how many links im dropping ect. But i need just a general idea from you guys who are already useing it.

Thanks :)

I use up around 2 TB per month running both xrumer and hrefer

Damn i never thought Xrumer would use up THAT much bandwith..

Ok so the next question would be, which hosting are you guys with?

Im currently with Host Gator and im not so sure if their dedicated servers would be cool with xrumer using up that much bandwidth!

I use volumedrive for running xrumer .They have excellent support. I have been using them for around 7 months now . Even BHW is running on volumedrive i think.
Very cheap as well you can get decent server to run xrumer for less than 100$ .
You can get either a 10 mbps line unmetered bandwidth or 100 mbps line with a 3 TB cap.

Contact me if your interested in a dedicated server for Xrumer. I charge $220 a month with open bandwith.

I also sell a 2 hour movie that teaches both Xrumer & Hrefer + advanced SEO.

The movie will break the learning curve and demonstrate how to set up PM'ing for forums that you manually registered for and also teach you how to use your own email gateways as opposed to the Russian email gateway defaults that dont work. So again, its a pretty intense movie. The movie sells for $150.

Depending on how much you run the server, you can easily do over 30Gb's of bandwith transfer a day which is like downloading (on torrent) over 60 hollywood (500mb) films in 24 hours. Xrumer uses a lot of bandwith to download .JPG Captcha pictures.

Here is an example of bandwith.

I noticed you can download the XRumer tool for free.

Do you then have to buy from the maker in order to use it?

I'm confused about how you can download the tool, run it on your home connection, but yet have to pay to the maker.

Could anyone explain how it works?

Thanks for advice on this.

They let you download a demo version. You know just how you can get demo versions of games ect. But if you want the FULL version you gotta pay.

The demo version of Xrumer lets you do everything so you get to see how it works. But it limits you by not letting you change the message that you send out to get posted on forums. So you cant post your own link anywhere.

There may be some other limitations also. Im pretty sure they have the demo limits listed on their site. at http://www.botmaster.net

I think thats their site......

LOL!
I'm gonna try xRumer on 110mb (free host) when I get it! :p
LOL 300GB Bandwidth, let's see what'll happen...

if u want to know how much traffic u'll need for Xrumer, just make 1 post manually and count how much traffic have u used for:
1 Open forum page (disable pictures in ur Browser)
2 Go to registration page
3 Load capcha image
4 make a registration on this forum
5 download email from ur mailbox using POP3 and approve registration by email
6 login to forum
7 find category and make a topic

and now u can easy count how much traffic u'll spend for 100000 forums

Okay here's an observation for you all - I happen to know that "Botmaster_Support" is in fact Alex's account. Kind of weird to see "Botmaster" himself banned here. Perhaps his account was hijacked?

Anyway, I just sent him a ICQ cause that really seems strange

Hi there all, I am really interested in purchasing xRumer and still have a bunch to learn for example how it would be setup and run on a server and some other specifics about the program and servers themselves.

I was wondering if before I was to buy it someone here would be able to give me a small runthrough of some of the things that I would be expected to accomplish, and what is working for them program/server setup-wise.

Falker since you are using volumedrive to host xrumer and hrefer I was wondering if you yourself may be able to just give me some things to get under my belt before I start the process of paying for the server and buying the software, but if anyone else would be able to help me out as well it would be much appreciated!!!

Thank you all ahead of time for everything that you have been talking about in this
thread already as it has given me an idea of what to expect :)

Just spend $30 on an xrumer blast before dropping the $540. That experience will be your best "runthrough" of what you can expect to accomplish. Find a blaster who is noob friendly and will talk you through setting up a campaign for that $30. If the blaster doesn't want to waste time with you because he thinks you will buy xrumer and never come back to him again then he probably does mediocre blasts so at that point just look for others.

Well xrumer is an seo tool, thus, if you know seo well, you wont have much problem using it.

You will also have to do lots of trials and error before you get used to it. It is not so user friendly, and you only get a broad tutorial of its function in the help file. You cant really find very detailed tutorial by the seller yet. As of support, I would say they have the worst support I have ever experienced. I am being very honest here.

So what you have to keep in mind before buying is that,

1. It is only a tool
2. You cant really find proper documentation for it, you would have to search hard for other user guides.
3. You cant rely much on the support.
4. There are so little non russian english users that are willing to share their tips and trick with you.

Finally, if you know what you are going to use xrumer for, buy it, if you still do not have a clue what you will use it for, i dont think it would a good idea. Not that im underestimating you, it is just what i see, when someone bought xrumer with a very wrong purpose (to do mass pm etc)

I would like to stress again that xrumer is mainly for building backlinks.
All the other small functions are just bonuses and perks.

Feel free to pm me if you have further questions. we can share info, so we can learn more from each other.

Damn. I wanted to Ask MR. Patel how he does 100Gb per day!
I would like to maximize bandwidth of a 100mbit connection 3TB cap.

Sharepro:
Is there a reason why you're only running 70 threads? Im running on a low end server, and I can push it up to 250. I know the specs of your servers are more high end. Are you running multiple Xrummers in one machine perhaps?

What is the ideal number of threads?

25gb a day.
sharepro has good servers [complain wise] but speed is not that good aka its slow postings.. on other providers u get way better speed but they close u up after 10s of complains ;) and dedicated bp are killer price so not worht it under xrummer

After lots of different numbers I have found in general going over 150 or so threads on a quad core does not normally give any real speed increase. The machine is happy to do 1024 threads and still have low CPU usage but the final speed is no better.

Consider amount of bandwidth you have per thread, that seems to be more the deciding factor these days with decent CPUs

Of course if you are running some old computer with a P4 in it you may find 150 threads puts a load on the CPU still in which case its CPU limiting you.

If all you are running on the server is Xrumer then I dont actually think there is much point in a quad, dual core is going to do you fine.... if however you use your server for others things as well then the extra power will come in handy.

Just be sure to go with 64bit OS or you are going to get stuck with 4gb ram limit ....

100gb a day is not too hard...have both Xrumer and Hrefer running 24/7 and a decent CPU and you will make that...
