How much an average Instagram is worth

First let me say I know all accounts are different and there will be different prices depending on niche,engagement,age etc.
I am instead trying to figure out a rough price for an average Insta acc.
I've always thought the rule of thumb was $50/10k followers,but recently checking websites like Fameswap and others it seems the average price is above that.
So what valuation do you use?

Assuming you're in one of the more in-demand niche, like fitness, travel, food... (Ones that can be monetized with brands) -- I'd say $10,000 for 100k

.10 - .20 cents per follower

You're right, it's around that price, however, an account is only worth what someone is willing to pay.

Just to know that market, what would a writer/ebook themed instagram go for, for say 10k followers?

Kylie Jenner or whatever her name is has a business that puts the value of each of her follower at $9-10 or somewhere around that.

Usually it’s up to 10/1000 followers
But if you need some pricing, just go on the marketplace here and you’ll see...

$6-$12 per 1,000 followers depending on engagement.

Accounts in hot chicks niche (engagement >10%) go away for 10-13$ per 1000 f.

If you get 1000 likes/comments on a new photo.

Your account is worth $1000. (That's how I judge an account, may not be true for every niche)

Depends a lot on engagement though.
