How many words per day can someone write?

The most I have written in one day (research + writing) is 14,000 words. But, on that day, I wanted to kill someone when I was finished . 5,000 words is about average.

Haha. I know what you mean. I can write a 500 word article in about 15 minutes. But I can't imagine writing for 8 hours straight.

Surely it depends on the quality of the content?

What i do is agree rates for different types of work, so one price for seo filler, another for money pages etc.
Rates are per post, directly into wordpress etc if the writer can do it.

Pricing 5k words per day is not a good way of working imo unless all you are buying is filler for article sites, in which case, frankly you may as well just mash up existing articles.

I think one can write good quality article at most 10 articles a day. After that I am sure the quality will degrade drastically.
