It would require a calculus major at an esteemed university to be able to get that number as I have hundreds of email accounts that get all manner of emails that I just plain ignore.

For Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook and AOL you can use unroll.me to unsubscribe from unwanted email lists in one place. Some senders just don't give a damn, that you unsubscribed or not. If you unsubscribe with unroll.me, all the unwanted emails will land in the Trash automagically.The habit of not deleting unopened e-mails is real
This is from about 5 years of doing that.. Last month I've spent about an hour unsubscribing to useless stuff and my inbox for the last months is cleannnnnn

Me too. I hate seeing anything unread. Even Whatsapp messages, sms, Facebook and shit like that irritates me to see messages unread. I always want to clean my inbox and spam boxes.I got zero. I don't like seeing unread emails.
Being into IM since about 7 years ago now. And I still hate to see this kind of things clog my inbox.
