How many times can I duplicate content?

Hi,

I think I know the answer to this but need to ask anyway!

I have written a post that is a guide and would like to share it on various blogs BUT I have tried using various spinners and ended up with garbage, as its a guide, I really need it to make sense.

I have tried to edit it manually but it seems to over complicate it, so hence the question above, how many times can I duplicate content?

(I'm only looking at doing it 3 to 5 times but even duplicating it once, I feel will harm it).

Hi, @VibroHeavenUK. If I remember what I read on Google Support's page correctly, Google and other search engines will see your content as duplicate even if you republished it on another website that you also own. There's no minimum number of instances of acceptable duplicate content. If it's a duplicate, it's a duplicate. The workaround is to have two different writers write about the exact same topic.
 
You can make as same exact posts as you want as long as there is a reference backlink showing the original author of the blogpost.
Do not change anything of the original post.

I would suggest you not to make duplicate content as google will detect it anyways if you’re owning those accounts too.
 
I suggest that you don't publish duplicate content at all.

Unless you are running some sort of news site and your competitors frequently do syndication, meaning they just republish stuff that is found on other news sites, your best bet is to come up with something original.

Now, please understand that originality for originality's sake is not going to move the needle.

You have to focus on why is required.

The main answer must revolve around the fundamental concept of search intent satisfaction.

Put simply, every piece of content you put up on your website must actually satisfy the needs of the people using the keywords you are targeting.

There's a reason why people type in those keywords.

Figure that out and deliver on that intent.

If you're able to do this for many different pages on your site and you start ranking, your domain authority increases.

This is the key and duplicate content usually cannot help you get to that point.

Sure, it saves you money, but even if you stuff your website full of duplicate content, it's not really adding any solid value unless you're in certain niches.

Also, if you're worried about costs, there are cheaper ways to come up with original content.

You can interview niche authorities.

You can practice dictablogging.

There's so many things you can do.
 
Duplicate the content is not a good practice in the long run if you want to be a successful. Try to post unique and quality content it will help you long run.
 
Duplicate content is just a dirty word for Curated Content. :p
You can do it as much as you want, across different sites.

Rewriting the content is a better option.
I will not suggest posting duplicate content.
 
Google do not penalize for duplicate content. It just do not give the curating site any Panda benefit. But it will still count as strong or stronger backlink if it is a strong domain.
 
Ohw shit...

Here we go again, people think they know SEO but have no clue of what the fuck they are talking about giving out advice and operating their favorite SEO guru, you can use dup content, hell on all my lead gen sites all the content is 99.99% exactly the same and it ranks just fine, dup content is n to the problem, it is an afterthought for Google.

Your backlinks and domain age is the most important if you have a strong domain that has been around for a few years (and i don't mean that bullshit DA that every n00bs know and loves so much) you can rank crap on a cracker into the top 10, dup content is NOT a factor at all and I have the date from over 250 .info sites to prove it!
