hello. im play the guitar + sing, used to have a band but now i just play solo acoustic songs

Guitar + Bass. To be honest i actually prefer bass over guitar at times. I guess its the tones i use . Im a sort of "Queens of the stone age" player. So lots of low notes, wound 3rds, hollow bodys etc. Wont see any hendrix tones coming from me .
I tried my hand at mixing stuff, but 1. I couldnt afford a good mic so it sounded like crap going in, and 2. I just dont have the patience. I remember using audacity years and years ago. Then tried fruity XXXX, that was probably just as bad. Was supposed to try cubase but from memory it was a rather large file vs my dial up connection at the time

I've played guitar for 20 years now (started when I was 10), been in several bands, played all over the country - I'm just plain awesome in general. All kidding aside, I'm still an active studio musician and record from my home studio on a regular basis.
If you like metal, you'll dig this stuff. I put this together a few weeks ago so keep in mind it's just a rough but it's recent (I won't post any of my bands work for obvious reasons). I recorded this with Logic, and all of the drums are sequenced using Superior Drummer 2.0 as the playback. All of the guitars (Ibanez RG2610Z through a Rocktron Chameleon and Randall ISO Cab, 2 SM57's) of course are live and played by me.
I'd like to hear some examples of other people's work too if you guys have them.

I've been playing guitar for about 13 years now, haven't been playing consistently lately though. The style I play is death metal, although I enjoy a range of music, the music of choice for me is classic rock and metal. I have been in several bands in my teenage years playing both guitar and doing vocals, and i've recently thought of putting together my own solo album, as I have recorded and mixed my own stuff before, adding drumming from a drum sequencer as I do not have the skills to play drums myself.
