As others have stated, hate to follow the crowd, but I'm a drummer at heart, mainly in the rock categories, although sometimes I pick up the brushes and dabble into a bit of jazz. Not frequently, though. I can't get that off-beat to ever work properly with me.

I play guitar (mostly acoustic with an Ovation and a Martin), 5-string banjo and ukulele... believe it or not, i really enjoy the uke and it's a great "thinktank" tool for me... I keep it next to my keyboard so I can pick it up, strum a bit, and think through my next BH method...

nice to see all the others who have a love for music, ,myself I play drums, do some electric guit and bass, a lot of mixing and arangment, my styles range from alt to industrial and a lot of brutal death metal + grindcore Anything moody works. I also been writing lyrics since I was a teenager heh way back. Any of you guys into writing lyrics as well? What style do u write?

Audio Engineering . And i also produce some Electronic music Genre like : Progressive House/ Minimal and Tech house Stuff..
I work mainly on Logic pro
for live performance i combine Serato+Ableton Live..

Been playing drums for 18 years. Played professionally for a few years, but having kids put me out of commission. Now I play in a cover band, and gig at local bars. I don't see as many titties, but hey at least I get free beer.

Man this awesome. It is nice to see so many b-hatters with an appreciation for music. I myself do NOT play any instruments. However, I love music and I love all different kinds.

Wiz It's no surprise your a musician now that I think about it. Maybe just because every time I see your avatar it makes me think of Miles Davis and a spliff. The album "Blue Miles" in particular....

Anyway, Good post. And props to all the multi talented bhatters out there.

It's great to see how many musicians we have. I'm a lead guitar player who also dabbles in bass, drums and keyboard.

I played some drums and keyboard in my school days, haven't played anything in a couple of years now.

My favorite musical genres are pretty much any kind of Metal, but most specially neo-classical metal (specially the one being produced in Japan) and symphonic metal followed by melo-death.

After Metal I would say that the second most favorite musical genre is Classical music, my favorite composers would be Bach and Mozart.

The following is considered by many to be a musical masterpiece, it is the longest song from X Japan with a total of 29 minutes of playtime, it is a sort of Bohemian Raphsody.
