How many internal links one use in there blogs?

It looks like your colleague is overdoing. I usually recommend 1 to 4 links for the 1000 word article. Also, it depends upon the type of the articles.

As, in my organization one of my colleague has attached over 10-12 internal links in a blog of approx. 1000 words
I don't think there's any specific guide on how many internal links you can have in a post. But for a 1000-word article, 10 links is 1 link for every 100 words, that might appear a but spammy to users/visitors.

Actually the article is so basic, even I recommend them to remove the extra links

As always said, there is not a specific or optimal numbers for internal links.
Some use many links, but some don't.
Interlinking helps flow link juice, so use properly with proper anchor text and reap the rewards of the search.

For a 1000-word article, you can include 10 internal links if they fit naturally, otherwise you should limit the number of links.

Hello DaisyIrani1005,
There isn't a set amount of internal links that people should utilize in their blogs because it varies with the size and content of the blog. However, it is typically advised to include pertinent internal links to offer more details and enhance the user experience.

There is no definitive answer to how many internal links you should use in your blog posts. It depends on the length and topic of your post, as well as your goals and strategy. Well, 10-12 internal links in a 1000-word blog post is not necessarily bad, as long as they are relevant and helpful for the readers.

Internal linking plays an important role in SEO. Internal links provide additional information about the subject that is being discussed. So, IMO, 2-3 internal links in a 1000-word article is fine. Avoid overdoing the internal linking, as too many links can appear spammy.

The number of internal links used in a blog can vary depending on factors like the length of the blog and the amount of relevant content available on the website. As a general guideline, aim to include 2-5 internal links within a blog post, connecting to relevant pages or resources on your website. However, it's essential to prioritize the user experience and provide helpful and natural links rather than focusing solely on a specific number. Focus on adding internal links that enhance the reader's understanding, provide additional context, or guide them to relevant content on your website.

Until the links are natural and useful to the readers of your blog, the number of links doesn't matter either it won't affect anything.

Internal links should be helpful for juice links flow but should be the most reasonable for the content purpose and meantime visitor friendly. Too many links will destroy the accessibility and feel hard. Please avoid it and just use most reasonable links only

2-3 internal links per post will do just fine
Even more for product reviews

>First, the links should be related to the blog post. For 1000+ words you have to put less than 10 links. But,this is your choice because there is no fixed limit.

There is no fixed number. But My opinion 1 to 3 internal links per post would be better to go. But it depends upon the articles.

It is not necessary to add too many internal links on your website just for the sake of it. For a 1000-word article, you might be able to add 2-3 links.

There is no fixed number of internal links one should use in their blogs as it depends on various factors like the length of the content and the relevance of the linked pages. However, it is generally recommended to include a sufficient number of internal links to enhance navigation and improve SEO.
