If I was being completely honest, a maximum of 4.
The reason why I am able to produce so much while working at basically half speed is because of systems.
I think in terms of systems.
The first thing I do when I find a way to make money online is go through the effort of doing it all manually.
I go through the effort of just rolling up my sleeves, putting in the work, and doing it as manually as painfully as possible.
I struggle through every step.
Now after that, as gruelling as that process may be, I start looking at the whole thing as a process.
A would lead to B, B would lead to C, and C would lead to D.
I hope you can visualize this in your mind.
This is how I think.
I think in logical steps.
I would also start looking at alternatives to these steps.
What can I do with step B that would produce the same outcome that I'm getting now that I spent a lot of time on or that I am emotionally uncertain about or it's just draining emotionally?
Remember, the hardest work that you will ever have to perform for an official job role or when you're doing business for yourself or providing services to others is the work that takes place inside your head and in your heart.
A lot of us do things that mentally and intellectually are fairly easy to do but on an emotional level, we just find it hard.
We automatically think that it's tedious, and guess what!
It's gonna be tedious.
We have a mind that thinks that it's gonna be a hassle, and guess what!
It's gonna be a hassle.
So when I go through this process, that is what I'm actually getting at.
This emotional work is what I am actually trying to target.
Once I start getting an idea as to how to do things in a later step that would enable me to overcome or even bypass the emotional struggle, things get easier.
And then once I notice that "Wow! I was able to do more things this time around than I did before because I made this change."
Can I make another change to scale things up?
Can I change another step?
If not this step, can I work on the next step or the step before?
Think in terms of your systems, and that's how you will get to working less while producing way more. T
To frame this in the most basic way possible, I'm sure most people reading this have heard of the 80/20 rule of the Pareto Principle.
20% of the things you do account for 80% of your productivity.
Think about that for a second.
20% of the things you do produce 80% of your results.
So what the hell have you been doing for 80% of your time?
That's right!
You were doing low-productivity stuff.
You were doing stuff that doesn't really matter.
When you focus on the 20% and you double that, you more than double the results that you get.
If you keep increasing the 20% to make it 60%, you achieve a 240% increase — of course, you're gonna have to alter that math a little bit here — than before.
Focus in terms of systems.
Think in logical, linear steps and always look for a shortcut.
In a famous interview, Bill Gates was asked,
"Who do you hire?
What do you look for in hires?"
He said, "I look for lazy people because when I hire a lazy person, they will quickly figure out the most efficient way to do a task."
And that's what I do.
I'm lazy emotionally, and that's why I use my creativity and intuition to connect the dots very quickly and very clearly.
This way, I get a lot more output for as little input as possible.
It doesn't apply across the board.
Make no mistake.
This doesn't apply to your relationships.
This doesn't apply to your spiritual life.
But when it comes to work, when it comes to building a business, when it comes to automation ideas, this works like a charm.
