Does anybody know how many friends request a day is safe to not get locked/checkpoint on facebook?

Maximum you can send 20-30 per day Which is safe and wont get locked.... and also the main thing is their is a limit you can send only 1000 from one Facebook account, it doesn't stop you until you hit 1000 pending sent.

I think it's unlimited. I used to send 18-20 friend requests and nothing happened with my facebook account.

depend in the account age if you have old account then maybe even 40 aday if new then 15 , that;s my opinion

As I Know there is no official notification of how many friend request you send a day. It also depends on relevancy, if you send a request to random people than facebook blocked you for some time, when you send a request to relevant people that you know that personally r you and your friend have some mutual friend than you send a request to around 30-40 a day or higher.
