How Many Browsers on Your Computer?

1st Choice: Google Chrome
2nd Choice: Internet Explorer
3rd Choice: Firefox

I used Firefox for a long time, but after their most recent updates I just gave up. They are so slow and hog so much memory. I primarily use Chrome as it seems to be the best at handling my needs, plus it has a neat little feature for inspecting HTML code in realtime (and modifying HTML code in realtime).

My uncle and uncle in law always argue about IE and Firefox. I thought Firefox was a lot better then IE? IE is sooooooooooo slow whenever i use it.

I usually stick with FireFox and Chrome but when I am developing or designing a website then I try to use multiple browser to make sure it's compatible with most of them.

i have 4. use mainly for checking keyword rankings. firefox for seo, chrome for browsing, opera for porn and maxthon for anything else. :)

1) Firefox here (only because of plugins)
2) Opera (love the dev. dragon fly feature)
3) Chrome (administration of my websites)
4) Aurora on another computer (thought i would outsmart the world trying this shittiest pre alpha version of Firefox which is updating every single days)

I am using Opera primary.
But i have installed also: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, IE and IE tester (all old versions of IE)

You just reminded me I haven't used Opera since my Macbook died a couple of years ago.

I've learned a lot from this thread. I'll be using Firefox now for SEO as someone suggested. Yesterday was my first day using Maxthon and it was love at first click. It may become my primary browser. IE will always be an option that can be surprisingly helpful and fast when I don't use it all day long. I'm going to install Opera on my desktops today and compare their speed to Maxthon. If nothing else its another option. Its definitely the most elegant browser.

The other thing I learned is delegating tasks to different browsers multiplies the computer's efficiency. Seems so simple and common sense now but somewhere along the way I forgot that and rode Firefox into the ground.

I use 4 of browsers. Order of preference: Firefox, Chrome, Opera, IE. At least 3 of these are running almost all the time. I don't like IE even one bit and will give Maxthon a try.

i use: maxthon, chrome, firefox, ie. ie is too slow for me. firefox is slow for me. chrome, somebody it is safe. maxthon is my top brower.

I have Firefox, Opera and Chrome installed I only use Firefox it is really going down hill more and more though I use Chrome and Opera for testing my sites to make sure they look right on all browsers I cant test IE though I use FreeBSD I don't have a windows PC. There really needs to be a new browser though it would be cool if Firefox went back to how it used to be it uses about 1 gigabyte of ram after it has been open for a couple of hours now...

Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Rockmelt, Safari, IE, Flock (it uses the same engine as FF and they have stopped updating it so I may need to dump it:( ..)

1) FivestarCPA browser (yes, my own custom coded browser in VB :D)

2) Chrome (4 windows, and 23 tabs open on the first couple windows, and around 36+ on the rest)

3) FF (63 tabs in total, in just one window)

4) Safari (15 tabs)

5) Opera (9 windows, 108 tabs on the main one, of which 26 are grouped, and rest can exceed 300+ in total)

6) NetScape (only 13 lol)

Around 8.5 Gigs on my computer is dedicated to web browsers

I have firefox and chrome, and TOR if you count that. I must say though I've recently upgraded to the latest firefox and it actually seems slower than the previous version :/

May I ask why you have so many tabs running all over the place? I'm curious as to what you do with all of them lol :)

I'm only using 4 browsers, Chrome, Firefox, Opera and IE.
I guess that 4 browsers are enough for me :D
