it depends on what you want, either white hat or black hat and if you want black hat you can blast your site with a pyramid style of backlinks from your blogs pointing to your main website and with this one you can create more blogs to point to your main site, sorry if you can't understand this, it's just that i am very tired now so i hope this can help you

i think u should work on a lot of direct backlinks, first build like 20 blogs and then buy some PR3-4 backlinks.. that will help for sure... but keep in mind that those 20 blogs should be properly created with all the keywords in it.

I currently own 2 blogs but its for different websites. If you are up into promoting your website I suggest that you just make one and use social networks such as facebook or twitter to spread the word. Unless of course you want to make a link wheel then you must make lots of web 2.0 blogs.
then i need to use the-third blog like woedpress or i need to create some independent blog ?for i am in china and i am not very famaliar with google.

yeah, i am also think i can't own many blogs.for i am the only person for the website.and i don't have much time to write many articles for my blog..it's makes me depressed.

yes, content is definitely a factor u should consider.
If you make many websites, will you be able to come up with enough content? And you would need quality content, not spammy material.
I would say just concentrate on 1 website targeting good keywords relevant to your niche and focus on driving traffic to your site using SEO techniques and social media.

No matter how many blogs you are created but it should have quality contents, right keywords and properly organized.
