How many backlinks should I get per day?

It depends on how niche-specific those backlinks are—and since these are comment backlinks mostly, I assume that they are no follow.
If these assumptions are correct, I would focus more on the quality of the blogs that are linking back to you.
How niche-specific are they?
How related are these blog posts to the topics of the pages that they're linking to?
How natural would the link patterns and PACING (ie., how often and how close in time they are created) look?
So think along those lines.
Also, see if there's a chance that you could get actual organic traffic from the links.
