I have a site with 6 articles and in six months I only got about 56 clicks and about 1.1 impressions

By the way I forgot to answer you query it had 23 articles with minimum word count of 762 words and sone of them are almost 3000 words.

Maybe that is the usual in that niche? Maybe you don't have enough articles? (If money could be easily made with sites that have 6 articles from new webmasters, then by gum, there are members here that would be able to afford to buy twitter!) lol
If you can achieve what you have done now. Within a couple of weeks max, you haven't pushed yourself to any limit to find valuable information. I suggest you keep researching and publishing and diversify your subject niches with another couple of sites.
I've got one site for example that has 39 articles x 800 words, achieving 50 views a month. I haven't made the site better than just text articles, however, once I get to 50 articles, I'll add a full multimedia experience to the site, update all the pages, and expect the visitors to rise thereafter because of it.

Just focus on content publish 50 to 80 posts.
Then do some off page Seo and focus on relative links means the niche you at in get backlinks from them.
And by the way make some pillar posts and try add backlinks( internal linking) to them one another

Just play white hat if you don't have money other wise if you have money then do mix them with each other.that's it

It's amatter of having a good keyword research more than it is about the number of articles.
Other things that are as improtant (if not more) are the quality of the articles, quality of pictures, are these reviews or informational articles?
