I've been asked this question before and let me explain what i do...
1) On 1st of the month i buy 4 sim cards on my name and 4 monthly plans of 15GB 4G for 60$ total. I have different mobiles where to use them (i've tried to buy phones with dual sim to save time and money).
2) i buy 40 empty instagram accounts 1 year old here on the marketplace for 40$ total. That said my total investment is 100$ monthly.
3) i run 10 accounts per sim and i grow them from 0 to 3k in around 1 week or so (niche adult) by doing follow unfollow manualy 3 times a day. For every time i send 200 follows in 2 minutes or so per account and i get a follow back ratio of around 50%. So in 1 week i send 5k following and get around 2.5k-3k back.
4) on the second week repeat the process for the next 10 accounts and so on.
5) at the end of the month i have 40 accounts with 3k followers each aprox (that makes a total of 120k followers) and my buyers by for 1200$ total (more or less).
So basicly, i invest 100$ and my time (around 2 hours a day) and i make a profit of around 1k$ monthly.
Is it time consuming? Yes!
Does it suck to do it by hand all the time? Yes!
But i dont have "jarvee issues" or so... so it has worked fine for me.
