How Long Will it Take Cryptocurrency to Replace Fiats?

For now maybe we are turning into cashless first. Just like in China most local use wechat app (QR code / scanner) for their daily financial activities.

In my country cashless technology (wallet) are trending too. In just 2 years we got almost 10 diffrent wallet app providers.

While for crypto technology to replace fiat is hard to predict. But in the future it will..

Crypto technology for me is still hugeeee

Even in my country(Malaysia), the minister of finance also talk about blockchain technology in parliament. About how blockchain is the future. And why Malaysia gov should take it more serious.

Cypto the future ? it is still fiat currency just like the US dollar back by nothing but faith .It can't mess with gold and silver which is physically tangible and never inflate in value.
 
One question: How many of "traders" out there really understand what cryptocurrency is.
 
In Next 5 Year, You'll get answer of this Question.
IMO, If Crypto survive the next 5yr, Then will survive 50000yr and will replace FIAT Or else will become a dirt.
 
I think the two will exist side by side for a good long while yet.

A lot of people still have no idea what cryptocurrencies are, or that they even exist.

It's going to take some serious education of the masses to get to that point.

Well 2 years ago my English teacher was teaching us about Bitcoin so we aren't too far from that

The blockchain revolution is upon us.

According to Bloomberg, 22% of USA residents report using BTC over USD.

So many industries have been revolutionized by this public ledger technology that it's hard to keep track.
 
I don't see this happening, people to stupid. Banks maybe hold some but average joe, practices 0 opsec to much risk he loses everything clicking links in his inbox.

My Estimation goes on the timeline of internet accessibility. When the whole world can be on line even in the most remote areas .....The trigger will be pulled and cryptos will dominate the world's financial structure
 
In my opinion, crypto's will not replace fiats, nor are they meant to replace the same. Crypto's will be mainly a means for storage and transfer of value.
 
It is too early to make a comparison between crypto and fiats. Let it first survive for couple more years.
