How Long Will it Take Cryptocurrency to Replace Fiats?

Never. The space is all nerds, retards and gamblers. Normal people do dumb shit all the time. How much BTC is currently in landfills? That's from enthusiasts, think about what's going to happen when your idiot neighbor down the block has his 401k on some piece of consumer grade iTrash.

Now add the near infinite divisibility. Normal people got issues with more than 2 digits after the decimal. Nobody is paying for a pizza that cost 0.00003424 Ether. People like nice round numbers but gamblers and tards want those GAINS so they have a bitch fit if a coin has more than 30 million supply.

Influencers swing the market. How do you think your uncle is going to feel when his retirement takes a nosedive and he's looking at eating dogfood because some Twittertrash ran their mouth?

The adaptability of cryptos will increase but I don't see it to be on par with something like the payment cards or internet banking. But then again I won't be too surprised if it happens otherwise, now do remember that nobody foresaw adaptability of computers and internet when they first came in.

Never. I'm not saying we will never end up having purely electronic money or a single global currency. But current cryptos i dont think will ever replace government backed money. Is common sense.

I doubt we will move to a cashless society any time soon at least not in my life time, and then once that happens you need to have a universal currency everyone can accept.. as a global community we can't even agree to cut emissions or try and move to greener fuels so add X years to that figure. The way I see it is crypto will never replace a currency system instead I think there will be more adaption for the block chain tech more than anything else, to trace where food comes from, parcel tracking, communication, storage that's the true value of the tech not £/$/€

Somewhere between 20-30 years it will be widely adopted. Don't know when/if it will fully replace government backed currencies.

who knows... i doubt that will happen... i do see us having NFC chips planted in our hands though... in the late 90's my dad said that one day you would just load all your groceries in the shopping cart and just walk out the door, a scanner would detect and tally all your items and then deduct from your account automattically and if you had insuffeincent funds, the doors just wouldnt open for you lol...
