How long should I give Ezoic before ditching it

It takes up to 3 months for Ezoic to be fully integrated, so I advise you to stick with them for at least another 2 months before you decide to switch back to adsense.
Wow, 3 months is long time. The rep has got back to me with some different ad placements to try so hopefully this will make a difference but I can't help but wonder if I'd placed ads in these places with adsense I'd also see a similar gain

I have seen a lot of bad reviews about Ezoic in recent days, but I have also seen good reviews about them. I think you should give them as much time as you can until you convinced that you have to change.

Hi,

I swapped over to Mediavine from Ezoic two weeks ago.

Mediavine Pros:
Much cleaner ads and faster site.
A slight gain in RPMs ( I'm already in a high RPM niche).
Better, faster and friendlier customer support.
No premium ad payments (Ezoic are crazy for asking publishers to pay for this).

Ezoic Pros:
Analytics reporting.
Better than AdSense.

The only real thing I could say Mediavine could improve on is the fact they seem to be slightly food/recipe bias. There is very little chatter on the Facebook group about anything else.

If you can get to 50k sessions then switch over.
How long did it took you to get in mediavine, your site has 100% unique content with high engagement?

Thought I would give a quick update, April saw 5% more earnings on Ezoic compared with Adsense in split test. A more concerning aspect is traffic is down 12% on the 12 month average.

I'm chatting with Monumetric at the moment, any one got any experience with them, any good?

A final update on my experience with Ezoic, I have now ditched them on this particular site but I plan to give them a try with another very different site to see if longer dwell times makes any difference. The results from Ezoic for May are pretty bad, Ezoic earned only 69% of what Adsense earned. I have now removed Ezoic and surprise, surprise, the site is now faster and my admin area works again.

I hope this helps someone who is about to use Ezoic, please don't ignore them based on my experience but please check you are earning more with them.

Better believe it, ought to give it additional time. You ought to likewise upgrade your promotion placeholders. Utilize the module for them on the off chance that you are utilizing WordPress. With respect to backend issues, you can simply change settings in jump or debilitate jump in the/administrator segment of the site completly.

Why though?

Because the placeholders basically ruined my site and my website visitors were not clicking on affliate links because they were so bombarded with Ezoic ads.

I understand that to get the best out of Ezoic you need to leave the placeholders for a month for the learning phase.

But if thats costing you lost affiliate revenue then is it worth it?

It wasnt for me.....

I used Ezoic only for a few days because their Javascript code disrupted my website in several respects.
They request too much site access, if you don't want to embed them through DNS addresses, the other choices aren't that good, you have Javascript code or a plugin.
When I tried to embed javascript on my website it disrupted my Google Analytics data and my website didnt updated live either(when i pulbished new posts).
They need to change the way how publisher/customer intergetion with them.

The revenue in these days, were very negligible compared to AdSense. (The traffic is not from the United States)

You won't see any improvements by using Ezoic. Most of the reports are of websites that had minimal ad placement and in weird places, their AI algorithm is just bs. I used them a few months ago and it did not lead to improved revenue, it only lead to broken website due to their bad Cloudflare plugin, every 20 min the website was unavailable. You have a lot of better options, some that have not been mentioned in this thread that I have used are venatus and nitropay.

I agree, I also stopped, I had to.

I tested them three times at different points, a day after putting them on, my traffic literally dropped, then when I take it off, my traffic increases, I found this funny.

I'm sticking to adsense and my affiliates commissions are good.

What is the CPM of adsense? and does Adsense accept traffic from social?

so far its pretty much the same perhaps a little lower
I had the same experience so I switched back to adsense.

Even if you wait months, it's not going to improve much and it's not worth the headache. You'll keep getting those origin errors in WP dashboard.

sounds like these could be older experiences but unsure. there's just no way that ez would affect traffic. if anything with what's being offered, the whole platform should help boost seo efforts.

like others have said, placeholders may take a bit to optimize. HOWEVER, the bonus upside is that you'll see less ads over time and earnings increase.

I think you are from Ezoic support.
Especially the part "you'll see less ads over time and earnings increase". That made me laugh so hard.

My revenue two days ago from Ezoic was 5$ but I got 10$ from Adsense last week at the day. I will keep the Ezoic a bit later about 2 or 3 months before going back to adsense or not, since EPMV still increasing bit by bit.

For reduced traffic IDK if it is related to Ezoic or not. But I scored high 80 CWV when using adsense and it still high 70 with Ezoic.

I analyzed my stronger competitor and it seems Q4 2022 is pretty worse for our ranking and traffic (compared to last year where we still got increased traffic and keyword ranking).

But yes, go for Mediavine or Adthrive if your visitor mainly from Tier 1 country
