How long google takes to Disavow Links??

Hi guys,
it's been 2 n half month I disavowed some bad links. but still, it's showing in Ahrefs.
basically how long google takes to remove them?

my domain has [한국민화박물관] 한 this kind 3000+ shit links. I see they badly affect my ranking.
Are there any other ways to remove shit links??:(

They will not dissapear from ahrefs until they’re removed
 
You can disavow from webmasters but they won't get removed from ahrefs until they are wiped off.
 
Somewhere between 3 and 10 years.
On a serious matter, I don't believe in this disavow crap. I think it is a complete waste of time.

As far as I know, disavowing backlinks don’t remove them from search console. Only telling google that these are naugthy links you don’t want to be related to.

sounds very true:) but that shouldn't be shown there too...am seeing every it's irritating.
 
Disavowing works. But only if Google recrawls the links on the pages you've disavowed. So have you reindexed those pages?

If you don't reindex them yourself, you have to wait for Google to crawl them again naturally, and if the link is on a low quality page, Google won't spend resources on recrawling that page often.

Disavowing is similar to adding no follow to a link. So while you no longer get credit for the link (or a penalty), the anchor text does still count.

ahrefs is not Google. If you tell Google that you want to disavow a link, ahrefs has no idea that you have. So the links still show in ahrefs regardless. They also still show up in Search Console because you're not removing them, you're just saying that you don't want the link juice to pass. If you want the link removed completely, contact the site owner.
 
im sure there is a way to be removed. i don't know How ! but i have seen some GiGs on fiverr offering removing spamming links and stuffs like that.
 
Even though you disavow those links it will be still there but its just will not pass any link power or have impact on site, I think you should contact the site owner to remove it.

How to tell Google to recrawl those pages?
 
Well , I remember reading somewhere google did say only use disavow if you've build those bad links yourself and you want to get rid of them.

If it's negative SEO , you can just ignore it as google ain't dumb.

Not sure if I can trust that statement.

how google will get to know links has been built by me or someone else...??

Disavow doesn't get rid of links. It simply makes sure that link juice is not passed. The effect is as if the website owner (where the link is hosted) added a no follow attribute. The anchor text is still taken into consideration.

Google is not as clever as Google likes to make out. Google cannot know who made a link. It can only judge whether a link may have been made in order to influence search rankings. And its not very good at that.

If the tool isn't needed anymore, why does Google still make it available?

John Mueller is very skilled at speaking in half truths. The reason the tool originally existed wasn't because of negative SEO. He is right there. Because before Penguin, negative SEO did not exist. He may not be able to recall a site that needed to use the tool to disavow negative SEO, but not only might his memory not be very good, he doesn't work directly with websites.

Google does ignore many low quality links by itself, without having to use the disavow tool. So it is true that most of the time, you don't need to worry about low quality links. But if you want to be certain that a link does not pass juice, you do need to disavow.

I would like to know that too... not because I want them to vanish from any seo tool but to get Google notice what I just submitted?

95% of the time, you will notice a negative serp impact because of using disavow tool. it is a waste of time these days. also, you are telling google that you are doing SEO, which is the biggest red flag. You would be surprised on how much crappy backlinks top ranked domains have and they hardly ever check their backlink profiles
 
What if I already notice a negative serp impact which I can't figure out why is the case? My last shot was to try this disavow thing!

MOZ spam rate is 4% - still low but.

often times google reduces your ranking to see if you are going to take actions. please dont. wait it out for few weeks. continue to add good powerful links

ignore what moz says. moz can bite me
