ETH confirms pretty much instantly, literally seconds after you send it the other party would receive it. Unlike slower options like BTC - which takes approximately ~10 minutes to confirm (depending on the tx fee you set when sending).

Ethereum blocks settle every 12 seconds. So for full confirmation processors usually wait 10 to 20 blocks, so a couple minutes maximum

for sure current day and age, eth almost far beyond where it's back then
back then they just looks like btc with different name
how we send (speed) depend on how much the fees
now with little fees, we almost get the same speed as litecoin (ofc ltc is faster but u got my point right?)

It is fast but depends on fees also. Increase the fees if you want to make it faster.
