How long does it take to rank a blog post in google

About 5 days ago I published a high quality blog post for a low competition long tail keyword that's 1400 words long. I used yoast seo which said my keyword density was good. I also implemented LSI. It was shared on twitter by somebody and there's a comment on the blog post. It has 13 likes on stumble upon. Google webmasters says it is indexed but when I check with a tool its not even ranked. I figured with all this it would at least be somewhere in the pages. Even if its indexed does it take time to get ranked? Also any good seo tips ? Thanks in advance. PS I don't expect it to be ranked number one for the word with just that but I thought that it would be ranked somewhere in the top 100 search results for the keyword. I know being 100 doesn't help much but I would like to know I'm getting somewhere.

I think, it will take about 2-3 weeks to get your post to the first page.
Try to generate some social signals and build a couple of hq backlinks.
 
Depends on the keyword. If you're trying to rank for "buy samsung s7 USA", good luck.
How do you check if you rank for your keyword?
Did you check if you rank for other keywords?
 
Did you check that your blog post is already in search engine? Try command site:"exact post url" and see if your post is already indexed. If not you can add the link to post in https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/
 
Depending on where the blog post ranks prior to major link building will indicate the difficulty of ranking it. For example if no SEO is done and you're already on page 3 it probably wont be that difficult to get to page 1
 
Depends on the keyword. Plenty of shares doesn't is not really an equivalent of ranking.

The quality post normally takes 2 to 4 weeks to get rank. If your page authority of that post will increase suddenly, the post gets rank very soon.
Also, build more backlinks and also share your post on the social media for gaining the traffic. This will help to increase the authority of the page.

It generally takes me 2-3 weeks to get a post ranked on page one for long tail keywords in the gaming industry. Sometimes shorter sometimes longer. Depends on comp and quality.
 
It takes 2 to 3 weeks to get rank on Google. Build some quality backlinks and Share your posts on Facebook, Instagram, and Google+ etc it will help you to get some good and faster ranking.
 
It's depending on your keyword also your written blog post could need some time to get ranking on search engine. By the time you can try to get more social shares and backlinks from the authority sites to your post to improve the good ranking.
 
Ranking does not reflect right after a post gets indexed. Be patient OP, and in the meantime build some links to your post, will you?

Dude, it depends on many different things. To have a great chance of a higher rank make sure that:
- Your domain is clean
- You chose the right keywords
- Your content is good. (The type of content also has something to do with the rankings. Top stories such as breaking news are more likely to rank faster compared to other stories)
- You're using the right title post for your content.
