In google search console, I was noticing that my home page was getting ranked for a phrase that I really never thought about. I created a new page to cover that particular topic, did internal linking and backlinks on the same day. Less that 1 week, my new page ranked 5 for that page.
I am sure if I work on it I can get it to top 2, but don't have time.
Heavily depends on the state the website is in.
Huge authority websites can rank within hours.
While new website can take up to a year.
more than 9 years oldWhat is the domain age and DA of your site?
i think with that kind of metric, you can get a new page ranked in less than 1 week.So if the domain age is 1 year but DA is >70. Will it able to rank a new page in few months? I know it depends on the lot of things. But based on experiences from your site what do you think?

It's a well known fact that stronger websites rank much faster. That is, new pages on such websites could take just days to rankHey folks,
I was going through the post published on ahref which states : the average Top10 ranking page is 2+ years old. And those that rank at position #1 are almost 3 years old (on average).
How many days did it take for you to get your article on page 1?
