How long does it take for a newly published article to rank on Google?

In google search console, I was noticing that my home page was getting ranked for a phrase that I really never thought about. I created a new page to cover that particular topic, did internal linking and backlinks on the same day. Less that 1 week, my new page ranked 5 for that page.
I am sure if I work on it I can get it to top 2, but don't have time.

What is the domain age and DA of your site?

So if the domain age is 1 year but DA is >70. Will it able to rank a new page in few months? I know it depends on the lot of things. But based on experiences from your site what do you think?

i think with that kind of metric, you can get a new page ranked in less than 1 week.

It will probably be able to rank in a few days.
But there is no DA 70 site less than 1 year old.

Depending on your keyword and competition, it could even rank instantly. I've sometimes published blog posts that ranked 2 minutes after submitting them to Search Console, but that was because of exact keywords and little to no competition.

It depends on your content, sites age, backlinks strength and most importantly keywor difficultly, there’s no guarantee you’ll rank everytime, but if you write content regularly you’ll get fair idea of what’s working for you and then scale it up

It is not just a matter of time.. the article quality and its backlinks plays a vital role. so focus on other factors as well

It's a well known fact that stronger websites rank much faster. That is, new pages on such websites could take just days to rank

The answer really depends on your website but in my experience it takes 3 months for rankings to stabilize on the first page at least. Often 3 months is enough for first rank too

Depends on the competition... for easy keywords it might take me hours and for harder it might take over a month.

There are several factors that determine newly published article to rank on Google. Also it can take 4 days to 60 days for a post or site to be crawled by google.
Before years which means in early 2000s the google ranking was very easy. but now a days it can't. just try to add some of the main keywords in URL, Title. This results that you can get in top of the search results within 10.
