And there must be something wrong happening, IG doesn't ban random people out of the blue. Did you login your account in any shady apps from Play Store or something (Like those followers tracking apps etc)?

I just logged in from desktop, I'm not sure if that was the reason why my account got banned. I'm not using any 3rd party apps.

I have 3 accounts on my phone. My main account was banned when I logged in from desktop.

They usually ban you for a longer time if you repeat the same pattern

This is true, I have also tried 2 accounts on 2 different devices without changing the device. I was just trying to figure out how it works without using bots, only using email and registering the other account with a sim card, with an inhuman pattern, just for following and uploading.
Without interacting with other people's comments, the account without a sim card got banned after 1 day, while the one using a sim card got banned after 1 week..

In your case it seems like your account has been banned due to logging in from different IP addresses at the same time. It will be from a few hours to days. You can appeal for the restoration of your account.

Few hours in some cases if not permanently banned. If not write an appeal and that takes time

The timing will largely depend on the sort of ban you've received. Anything that's more of a "basic" ban like artificial, sexual, impersonation, can be recovered in a matter of a few days with the right system, assuming it hasn't remained dormant for too long. If it's copyright or counterfeit goods, then you've got a much bigger and more expensive problem on your hands that can take months to resolve. If it was permed, then you can essentially forget about that account.
