How long did you not make any money?

Around 4-5months of hard learning and work, I never started to earn gradualy, my first time was a 4figure income, then that became WEEKLY earnings...

I think I am getting there. But its not the same everymonth. Sometimes I get good sales but most pf the time not much.
 
Took 3-4 years of practice to breakthrough to making a consistent several hundred a day. Before that it was constant $0-10 days. Never give up!

Well the first one years was really slow, to earn a single cent but now I am building up!
 
About 3 years before I started making money in whitehat, then another 3 years until I started making money in blackhat:-)
 
When I started, despite having a web developers background, i knew little about IM.

I was just throwing a few hundred dollars at every method I came across and seeing what stuck.

After about 6 months I found a method that I could make work.

I think I was about a year in when I actually broke even and recouped all of my investment money!


I remember in those first few months how unbelievably excited I would get if I earned $0.50 in a day. 2 years later and I'm hitting $1,000+ a day and barely get the same level of excitement I did on those $0.50 days lol!

To all the newbies, even if you're making pennies each day... stick at it! You're at the start of a very long and lucrative journey :)

Similar story, but i got a 2009 blog that took 4 years to rank :D
The money that brought me this site has been to fund all my testing until now.
To answer op, it has been a little more than a year but I know this will be the year I will make it :)
 
I made my first IM money in 2 weeks. In 1 month I was making a good $300 -400 a week. Then after a few ups and downs and a year and a half later I am at $x,xxx / month and getting closer to $xx,xxx / month.
 
For first three years no money. Then fourth year few cents, fifth year 10 bucks. And now I am in 6th year, with 2 months already gone, I have earned $900 till now.

But I am happy with it, as 99.99% of kids at my age are busy mugging up their syllabus for higher studies. :)
 
I got lucky and started on the business from a friend
I still feel like I'm getting chum change though
I started 6 months ago and so far I've made around 15k from working around 3-4 hours a week since I keep myself pretty busy with a masters degree
I just joined BHW and have learned so much already, hopefully soon I will too be earning 6 digits a month from some big oportunities I have coming up
My motto is go big or go home
 
I was 12 when i made my first 200$( now i'm 14).I discovered a way how to make money ingame and than i went to ebay,buy laser pointers and sell them for triple price in slovenia :D.The problem is that i don't have verified paypal so all stopped.In IM i'm not making a cent yet but i will take action soon
 
Its depends on what is your business plan and how good your are in execution and what sort of plat form you use.
For at least six month time scale is reasonable if some body can put real effort and time with vision.
