No, I'm not asking for methods, although if you want to share them, go ahead, fine by me. When you first started Instagram, how long did it take you to grow your account? How did you stay motivated? What were your milestones? I'd love to hear about them! Just want to get some words from people with decent Instagram accounts.
Growing one's account is a never-ending process young padawan. $ seems to be the main motivator amongst the masses these days. Milestones are subjective when it comes to shit like this.
Of course, there is no finish line to growing something. My question is more around the ''experience" of growing someone's instagram account. Sorry if there was confusion in the question, wish I could change the title haha. As far the milestones, yes they can be quite subjective, which is why I worded it in saying "your milestones".
I aim for 200 followers per day so it takes about two months to get 10k followers. When you reach over 10k I generally see more natural growth so it goes to about 300 followers per day. The motivation is simply the money and striving for an income that will allow me to live more independently without a 9-5 job
Hey, few questions How many accounts have you grown to over 10k? After 10k, in your niche personally, do you still do some legwork, or let it grow organically?
Yeah follow/unfollow combined with likes. To be honest, I'm no veteran at this but I have grown about 20 accounts to this level so far. To answer your second question, it depends on how well the account is doing in terms of organic growth and engagement. I would usually keep doing some legwork as you say until maybe 20k then I leave the account grow organically. Using the follow method beyond that point may risk a shadowban according to some people.
When you first started, how long did it take you to get your first account to where you wanted it to be?
Mind sharing how many follows/unfollows, likes per day ? I am just starting to grow 1 year old accs that had no activity yet and I know that at first 1 or 2 weeks I have to be slower. Oh and do you have plans for those 20 accounts with 10-20k followers? Are you selling them or are you going to monetize them?
Around 3 months at first. I use a bot to automate everything. If I was doing it manually, it would probably take a few more months. I do 600 follows per day and 750 likes. Others do more but I like to be safe. Yes, start off slowly for a week or two then it should be fine if they are aged accounts. I tried CPA but I'm going to sell the accounts instead from now on as its less work in my opinion.
Thank you . Also do you use same hashtags in every photo of account? I have heared that using same hashtags over and over again is not that good. Are hashtags that important anyway for follow/unfollow method?
I use the same hashtags but I don't consider hashtags to be important at all for gaining followers, at least not anymore. Maybe hashtags help with engagement, but not essential for followers in my opinion.
Hah, and how many likes do you usually get for 10k account? I am going to use same 15 or so hashtags on every photo and 3-5 different only for particular photo, is it what you do too?
I must be doing something wrong if i am following similar numbers and only getting 50-80 follows back max and some accounts receive a lot less!
I'm happy with 10% engagement so 1k likes. Some accounts get higher but most of mine get lower to be honest, but always at least 5%. Personally, I just use the same hashtags, which is probably a mistake so switching them up is maybe beneficial.
