I've read on here that a lot of people got engagement back after they stopped the botting.
I let one accont rest for 2 weeks, not logging in but the engagement is worse! 80 likes on a pic with 29k followers posted yesterday.
The other account I stopped botting and just liked a bit manually... this one is doing better at 200 likes for 30k

I'm not shadowbanned I've tested it, its just being throttled.
I'm honestly at my wits end... I think I will have to delete these accounts I've spent years on and just start again.

Its not my content as its original art and photography. I had a huge following and when I was at 6k followers I was getting 2000 likes/.

I wish I had never ran bots on these accounts. It seemed like a shortcut but in the long term it has made them useless. :(

Well it likely wasn't just the bots. IG's algorithm is also changing to become more like Facebook's - 100% pay to play.

Eventually any comercially valuable niche will have to pay for "boosts".

Yeah I think it was cause I had a few posts taken down for being against their terms. No nudity but pretty risque and someone reported it. Saw a drop after that.
It just sucks cos if I set my bot to liking pics I can get 100 followers a day. but likes dont go up. I hate growing by a 1000 a week and still getting 200 likes it makes the account look dodgey as hell. Like Ive bought followers.

Can You PM me? thx

it sucks when IG changed algorithm, we had to change strategy

I am currently in a similar situation. I have an account with 50k followers and decided to stop botting as I am turning it into an account with higher quality content. The bot ran for the last couple of months and also here I experienced a decrease in engagement.

Now after stopping the bot, engagement still is at a very poor level, although the quality of my content has increased. IG must limit my reach - I have no other explanation. Has anyone else experienced something like this?

Do you think that getting organic likes will improve the overall situation so that the limitation in reach is lifted sometime soon?

Shadow banned?

Did you try to give it a like boost right after you post?

This is exactly why I dont bot. I have 8,10, 15, 20k accounts all organic.

Companies can see the botting through social blade. All they need to do is click on detail stats and you can see following/unfollowing. They say to themselves, who he heck follows 800 people on Monday, 600 on Tuesday then unfollows 800 and 1000 on Friday and Saturdays. It is all there in black-n-white. Plus, they can see a 12 month graph. SO if someone did F/UF, they literally have to go clean for a full 12 months before they can start talking to brands for sponsorships.

I am getting good reach now. 50% and in some cases 200% reach. It is nice to see a 8K account get a 15,000 reach on a single post. As I know there was no comment pods, boost, or whatever. The Algorithm knows. It simply knows. And those who say converting over to business profiles hurt your reach, they're wrong. I talk to dozens of 50, 100K accounts and none of them have suffered any reach issues. I do not see it myself. I do not see any throttling on a 15K account.

It really pains me to see that I have such a small following vis-a-vis others in my niche but I am gonna stick to being organic. It isn't about Follower numbers. It is about impressions/reach and how many people see your posts.

IM NOT AGAINST BOTTING. Just want to make that clear. I am running test accounts but for main accounts you want to monetize with sponsorships, avoid it at all cost.

Sorry to pop your cherry, but brands don't give a hoot if you follow/unfollow or run a bot on your account. What they do care about is organic engagement on your posts. And size does matter, never mind what your girl told you. Brands get wet all over on 100K+ follower accounts.

I know, I work with them day in and day out.

Were you doing any engagement groups? If so, this is why your engagement dropped.

I had many accounts in Telegram engagement groups. Flopped in new followers and likes within days. After 2-4 weeks not doing engagement, but still botting, they are all back to normal and most are even at 200% more new followers per day.

Whats your reach on a 100K account? Those that unfollow tend to have 5-10% reach.
Prove me otherwise.

They can't detect it if you do 800 follow/unfollow daily and a lot of ways around it.

Do this , run the block followers tools with this settings - user has a profile pic, no of posts = 10, last pic posted atleast 30 days and use a lot of filters to sort out those leechers who don't like ur post. Do yourself a favour and drop your followers to 20k but if you have better engagement then it's all good

Thats a really good idea! Can this be done on followliker?

No I never did any engagement groups. I just used to like 1500 pics a day for like a year lol. I think IG just knows im botting and throttled my reach :/

idk m.p has a lot of other useful features , i just gave you some pointers.
Ah I only have followliker, thanks tho, I'll try find out my ghost followers another way there will be an app or something :)

There are tools that take hourly snapshots of the follow/following. It stores it in a database.
