how links should i have per page?

I have read an article in Moz that suggests 100 per page is the maximum amount. We should avoid having too many hyperlinks on your webpage. I think the 100 per page maximum is the rule for most of the websites right now.

No one can say the exact number of links to rank a particular keyword may be experts can give you suggestion based on the competition and niche. It depends on many factors like on page score, content quality, where, type/quality of backlinks? In my experience I've seen many keywords are jumping from nowhere to Top 5 pages with few PBN links and for some keywords we have to work hard to push. So, keep an eye on your competitors, practice on both on page and off page steadily...

If you are talking about OBL then maximum 100
and if you are talking about link on post content then use 2 link per post.

OBL or outbound link is a link from your website "linking" to another site.

You should definitely focus on quality of the links. Google ranks based on the best links you have.
SEO websites like Moz or Backlinko get negative SEO (spammy links) all the time. But they still rank well. Because Google cares about the good links you have. Not how many.

thanks..so do you mean the links that point to your blog posts should be around 2 per post..while links that point to other pages on other sites shouldn't be more than 100

that's the confusing part..sometime when I check some competitor backlinks, they have 100's of inbound links..

Dear my friend you can put 1000 if links on single page because you are the owner of the website but according to google upto 100 links are good. I hope now you understand.

You can link internal link as your wish. For external link it depends on article size
